For years, one of my personal and professional goals has been to give back to the advertising and brand marketing community.

But as my role at Google expands and my son grows up, the time required for deep, thoughtful long-form writing has become a luxury I can rarely afford.
I’ve tried 1-on-1 mentoring over coffee—both in person and virtual—and I love it. But every time I try to do this at scale, I hit a brick wall: my calendar.
Coffee chats don’t scale. Neither does a long-form newsletter.
So, I’m experimenting with a different approach.
